Shanghai Pudong Airport transfer to Pudong hotel Hi there, my family and I (2 adults, 2 young children) are coming to Shanghai in May and saying at Marriott Union Square, long term lease car shanghai Pudong (above Dong Chang Rd Metro station). Initially we thought we would just get a taxi straight from airport to hotel but I have read that taxis are quite small and may not be able to accommodate the whole family plus all of our luggage (3 suitcases, 4 hand luggage). Is this correct? Then we had a quote for a private transfer which was NZ $444 which seems ridiculously expensive. So we wondered if we might try getting the Maglev train instead as it seems so much cheaper and much faster, to Longyang Rd and then taxi from there (not so keen on trying to get all our luggage and 2 children safely onto the metro for last stage of journey). Can anyone please comment on whether you think this is a good plan with the two young ones, or would it be better, and possible, to taxi whole way? Also, if we did get the Maglev train, roughly how long to taxi Longang Rd to Dong Chang Rd by taxi? And roughly how much? Will we all fit in one taxi with our luggage?
